A Simple Ramayana Story for Kids
Lord Rama's army reached the southern seashore while searching for Sita. They learned that she was being held captive in Lanka, across the vast ocean.
The Vanaras wondered who could cross such a great distance. Jambavan, the wise bear king, reminded Hanuman of his hidden powers and encouraged him to believe in himself.
Filled with devotion to Lord Rama, Hanuman grew into a gigantic form and stood on the Mahendra Mountain. Chanting Lord Rama's name, he made a mighty leap across the ocean.
During his journey, Hanuman faced many challenges. He politely greeted Mainaka Mountain, defeated the serpent goddess Surasa with intelligence, and escaped the demoness Simhika with courage.
Finally, Hanuman safely reached the island of Lanka. He thanked Lord Rama for giving him the strength to complete his journey and prepared to search for Mother Sita.
Hanuman's leap across the ocean became a symbol of faith, courage, determination, and devotion. His story teaches us that with confidence and God's blessings, even impossible tasks can be achieved.
